St Paul’s Cathedral needs YOU – Cathedral Guides

After two long years of dealing with a fire, pandemic and no heating, we are looking forward to what the better weather will bring including the return of cruise ships and tourists. We now have an expected schedule when cruise ships are planning to be in Dunedin and would love to be able to welcome many visitors over the coming months. This will not be possible without the help of volunteers. That is where you come in!

We are looking to have two Cathedral Guides on duty from 10am – 1pm and another two on duty from 1pm – 4pm for every cruise ship day. There are no restrictions on being a guide as anyone is suitable as long as you have a smile on your face and enjoy talking to people. Cathedral Guides will NOT be responsible for running the Cathedral Shop or opening / locking up. This will be done by the Cathedral Shop Volunteer. All appropriate information and training will be provided.
