'Within my Body of Work, the representation of shared distant childhood memories is playfully captured in a range of expressive forms. Through collaboratively playing a game of Exquisite Corpses with friends and family, prompted by questions thematically related to childhood experiences and imagination, the origin of the imagery was formed. These drawings translated into detailed drypoint etches, intricate watercolouring of ink drawings, and playful interactive ceramic figures. The works highlight collective insights into the often bizarre and peculiar childhood mind through the visual gathering of memories and ideas. The subdued colour palette of the ceramics and the delicate softness of the etches and watercolour drawings evoke the audience to reminisce on their own distant childhood imaginings.'
