Year 12 Students Engage in Many Initiatives, Displaying Dedication and Hard Work

Mr Cucciniello, Year 12 Year Advisor —

As we start to enter the final phase of our students' high school journey, we are excited to share some updates and upcoming events Year 12 students have been involved in.

This includes:

Preparing for Post-School Pathways and UAC Applications

With only two terms left, our Year 12 students are diligently preparing for life beyond high school. Whether they are considering university, TAFE, apprenticeships, or entering the workforce, we are committed to providing support and guidance every step of the way.

Fashion Through the Decades Fundraiser

At the end of Term 2, our Year 12 students organized a spectacular fundraiser during the Fashion Through the Decades event. Featuring a clothes swap, bake sale, and fashion auction, this initiative raised funds for the Year 12 Graduation and Yearbook. We are incredibly proud of our students' initiative and generosity.

Moonlight Cinemas

We are also thrilled to announce the upcoming Moonlight Cinemas event, offering students a delightful evening of outdoor cinema and camaraderie. Stay tuned for more details on date, time, and movie selection.

Japanese Continuers School Trip

A highlight for our Japanese Continuers students was their eight-day trip to Japan during the school holidays. This immersive experience deepened their understanding of Japanese language and culture.

Year 12 Study Group

Our students have organised a Year 12 Study Group to support each other academically and ensure success in their final exams. We encourage students to take advantage of this valuable resource.

Athletics Carnival

The recent Athletics Carnival showcased our students' athleticism, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated and helped during the event. The day concluded with a Year 12 fun run, fostering a sense of community.

Mental Break

In addition to academic rigor, we recognise the importance of mental well-being. Our school provides lunchtime physical activities as a way for students to recharge and maintain a healthy balance.

As we approach the culmination of this academic year, we thank you for your continued support and encouragement.

Together, we can ensure that our Year 12 students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially!
