Design Students Learn about Courses offered at The Design Centre
Year 10 and 11 design students attended the SEE-ASK-DO Open Day at The Design Centre, Enmore TAFE on Friday, 30 August.
SEE-ASK-DO provided our students with opportunities to learn about different courses offered at The Design Centre, including Interior Design, Graphic Design, Jewellery, Animation and the new TVET course called Live Production.
In Live Production, students made a severed hand using latex. Meanwhile jewellery students created key tags and rings. Graphic design students were tasked to create detailed zines, while interior design students learned about using Sketchbook Pro to envisage interior design layouts and colour.
TAFE teachers and designers helped students work with professional standard tools and equipment. Students were each given a bag filled with small gifts and information about The Design Centre. The day ended with a delicious BBQ lunch on the terrace.
