Introducing our 2023 SRC team!

Mr Cooper SRC Coordinator and Ms Mora, Student Support Officer —

Following a very successful planning day at the end of last year, the DHSVAD Student Representative Council has gotten off to a flying start in 2023!

Some of the wonderful initiatives our SRC students have worked on so far this year have included, facilitating a very impressive bake sale to assist the graduating Year 12's pay for their yearbook.

They also contributed to the success of the Year 12 Parent Teacher Interviews and the Year 7 Welcome Barbecue.

Looking ahead, there are many opportunities for the SRC to contribute to the school community, and also further their skills as young leaders.

A selection of SRC members will be heading to the Australian Youth Leadership Academy in March, where they will get the chance to meet other young student representatives and hear from an outstanding panel of speakers.

Meanwhile, some of our prefects will be heading to Fort Street High School to liaise with their counterparts from around Sydney.

Back at school, our SRC is excited to help out with upcoming events like the World's Greatest Shave, Harmony Day, and the Open Night for prospective students.

Throughout the year, we will be holding elections for SRC, an exciting prospect to ensure our Council is representative of our wonderful community.
