It's great to see positive friendships forming

It has been an absolute delight for us to welcome our 2022 Year 7 cohort to Dulwich High School of Visual Arts & Design.  

They have all successfully begun the process of settling into general school routines and have all received their school diaries, timetables and assessment schedules.

We have observed so many positive friendship groups forming, active participation in our peer support programs as well as so much student confidence building in the playground and classroom. It is hard to believe the first day of school was almost 5 weeks ago.

It is great seeing so many of our students getting excited and involved with extracurricular activities already. Music ensembles and dance ensembles have started forming and it was such a treat to see so many Year 7 students compete in the swimming carnival. Keep an ear out for other extracurricular activities happening, more information will be provided in your Home Rooms or Year meetings.

We are all looking forward to having whole school assemblies again so we can continue the great Dulwich High tradition of clapping in our year 7’s into our school community.
