The top left image portrays the triumphant cell model produced by the dynamic duo,  Ava Sayer and Boudi Sutton.

In celebration of their success two titles concerning the birth of the environmental movement were awarded, namely, The Dragonfly Will Be the Messiah and We Belong to Gaia. In addition to cells; Year 7 have been busy studying and using microscopes to look deeper into the inner workings of nature.

Top row middle displays the old entrance of Taronga Zoo and its captivating key stones.

Pictured below top right are the Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) in their tailored habitat enclosure.

Depicted bottom most is the Desert Classroom - part of the Taronga Institute of Science and Learning. Students enjoyed rooms of vermillion sands and finicky finches along with the charismatic presentation from zoo staff that included getting close up with a smorgasbord of native species including bilbies, scorpions, lizards, and snakes.

Pictured below are onion cells one hundred times magnified! (note* no tears were shed during this experiment).
