A unique and educational experience suitable for all students

The Program consists of a presentation on road safety and the consequences of taking risks, disability sport and living with a disability then a game of wheelchair basketball. This give students a taste of wheelchair sport and what it is like to use a wheelchair.

10 PASS Wheelchair Basketball

As part of their Physical Activity and Sport for Specific Groups unit, Wheelchair Sports NSW was invited to the school to present on disability awareness in sports and to discuss the challenges in physical activities to the year 10 PASS class. The class had a 10 minute presentation followed by a game of wheelchair basketball. The students had a lot of fun, were exposed to the challenges faced by athletes with disabilities and developed a higher appreciation for the athletes and the sport.
