Gala days are a great way for the students to get involved in physical activity, support their fellow peers and to meet and interact with students from other schools in the local area.

Our Year 9's represented our school in the inaugural Girls Inner West ALF Gala, with the opportunity to be the first winners for the Girls Inner West  AFL Shield Trophy. 

team of girls from DHSVAD represented our school in the inaugural 'Girls Inner Sydney Shield'. 

The Round Robyn Tournament was hosted by the Magpies AFL Club. Our teams played against seven other schools from the Inner Sydney area. The girls also had the opportunity to workshop their skills in between games with current WAFL players from both the Magpies and Sydney Swans.
