Students help execute our new Behaviour Support and Management Policy

Mr O' Neill, Deputy Principal —

Our SRC leaders did a fantastic job implementing of our school's new policy.

Our school leaders recently took part in focus groups which were facilitated by Ms Scott, Mr Sokias, Ms Glansbeek and Mr Cooper to help bring to life our new Behaviour and Support Management Policy. They also engaged in upskilling and learning (where school practices and Department of Education policy were explained to them, as well as some of the research pertaining to student behaviour).

Students participated with the utmost respect and clearly demonstrated our school values and those of public education - it was incredible to see them operate at that level. I would also like to acknowledge our budding sociologists - Ruby S, Maxim M, Hart O, Alice C and Lara M who supported staff in facilitating the focus groups and then analysed the data afterwards.
