On Thursday 23 February we held our whole school swimming carnival where students entered races and competed against each other. It was a great day where we saw a record of competitors enter the races!

While the weather was not ideal, with rain at different intervals ranging from a drizzle to a downpour; this didn’t dampen the school spirit! Our different houses cheered on their competitors and we saw great house spirit on the day in the form of encouraging chants, comradery and house dress ups.

In addition two new records were set for our new race in the carnival, the champion of the school race. In this prestigious race the seven fastest students of any age group compete against each other . We have a boys and girls race. This year the boys champion of the school was Lucas Smith in year 11 and the girls champion of the school was Charlotte Smith.
