Dance News - Dance Ensembles and Pulse Alive Performance

Ms Swadling, Dance Coordinator —

2023 is shaping up to be another exciting year of dance at DHSVAD

Dance ensembles have begun on Tuesday mornings 7:45am in the hall, with the first opportunity to perform at Pulse Alive in Week 7 and Thursday 9 March 2023.

Pulse Alive is a large-scale event, providing high-quality opportunities in the performing arts for students from NSW public schools in Greater Sydney and beyond. Pulse Alive provides performance opportunities for students of all abilities from Kindergarten to Year 12.

DHSVAD dance students will participate in the Mass Secondary Dance Item - Welcome to the Madhouse / Fly Away in Pulse Alive 2023. Students have been working hard to learn all the choreography and we wish them luck in their performance.

If you are interested in attending Pulse Alive you can purchase tickets online from ticketmaster:

Any students interested in being part of the dance ensembles in 2023 are welcome to join any time. With more performance opportunities in term 2 and 3 including dance festival and Winter Gala. Students can see teachers in the PDHPE staffroom for further information.
