DHSVAD takes on The Rainbow Shoelace Project
We are so proud of our students promoting acceptance one bead at a time
During Pride Month, DHSVAD students had the opportunity to participate in the Rainbow Showlace Project. The initiative aims to show support for the LGBTIQ+ community and raise awareness by wearing Pride coloured beads on your shoelaces.
The Rainbow Shoelace Project is the brainchild of 12-year-old Abbie Kelly who, with her friend Max Dawnn, started giving out Rainbow Shoelace beads in their hometown of Broken Hill.
