On Monday 1 May we had our annual whole school Athletics Carnival. The weather was beautiful, and we had an enormous number of students participate in events.

This year we added Javelin to the program which the students enjoyed. We also had NSW Athletics run Photo Finish for us. This meant all running races were recorded electronically and the placings were determined by a photo. This came especially in handy when we had our inaugural 100m Champion of the School race. The boys’ race was a very close finish with Jonas O being first with 12.87s, Oscar H coming second with a time of 12.94s and Max A right behind him with a time of 12.95s! The girls Champion of the school was Mele-kyannah with a time of 13.72s. We ended with the Year 12 100m fun race.

Great school spirit was shown, students dressing up in their house colours, it was a colourful and fun event! Big thank you to all the students who participated in events, as helpers and as cheer squad and all the teachers making this a day to remember!
