Year 10 Japanese students enjoy a beautiful day at the Cherry Blossom festival
In August, Year 10 Japanese students attended the annual Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival at Auburn Botanical Gardens.
The students were able to experience cherry blossoms in Australia and participate in the many cultural activities that were available at the venue. This included a Japanese taiko drum performance, origami making, mini golf and a variety of Japanese and non Japanese food were available.
Joining us were a muster of peacocks, who reside at the Auburn Botanical Gardens.
Students had a great time viewing the cherry blossoms and took some great photos under the tutelage of Mr Tripolone.
Here are some photos of the great day.
