Ms Mora, Student Support Officer — March 9, 2025
A group of Koori Club students were invited to showcase their cultural leadership by sharing and celebrating First Nations culture with the younger generation at a local childcare centre.
Under the guidance of Dhinawan Yarn and Entertainment, our students had the unique opportunity to engage with the children, teaching them about the rich heritage, history, and traditions of First Nations people.
This excursion emphasised the importance of cultural exchange, fostering a greater understanding and respect for our First Nations communities. It also served as a reminder of the invaluable role education plays in preserving and passing on cultural traditions to future generations.
A big thank you to all the students involved, as well as Ms. Abhianna and Dhinawan Yarn & Entertainment, for making this wonderful initiative possible.
