Booking Inspections

Our online form is the fastest way to get your inspection booked in. It ensures we have all the information we need, and we endeavour to book your inspection as close to your preferred time as possible.

When booking, you’ll need:

• the building consent number

• the project location/address

• the type of inspection required and whether it’s a re-inspection

• the name and contact details (including an email address) of the person who will be on-site at the time of the inspection, and the person making the booking

• The name and registration number of your licensed building practitioner (LBP) for restricted building work inspections.

Scheduling inspections

When booking an inspection, we schedule the next available appointment with an inspector who is able to undertake your inspection.

Avoid booking inspections that you are not ready for. Short notice cancellations will incur a charge.

Our waitlist system works extremely well and often inspections are able to occur much earlier than booked. If your work is ready to be inspected, please request to be put on our waitlist and keep your phone near.
