Police Ethnic Recruitment Seminar

We’re sew excited to bring Fabric-a-brac to Dunedin in 2024!

Come along to discover vintage and modern fabric treasures, haberdashery, patterns, buttons and sewing supplies. This fabric and sewing market is a wonderful morning out! All in aid of Otago Community Hospice.

Shocktober

  • Date: Saturday, 12 October

  • Venue: Green Island Memorial Park

It is a partnership with St John and the Greater Green Island Community Network and fun for the whole family. This is a fun family event and the opportunity to relearn some new skills, St John will be teaching how to call 111, starting CPR and how to use an AED. Along with a free sausage sizzle and kids face painting and kids activities.

Creative Capability Workshops 

The Creative Capability Workshop series 2.0 will run from September - November, and is aimed at creatives who are looking to:

  • upskill

  • refresh your skills

  • get reassurance that you are on the right track.

This time round, all the workshops will be the same:

  • Time: 6pm

  • Place: Petridish (8 Stafford Street) 

There will be 3 x workshops and 1 x funding clinic, and manaakitaka will provided.

  • 5 November: Admin tools for artists

Anglican Family Care Movie Fundraiser Night

Taieri Emergency Preparedness Community Hui

  • Date: Thursday, 24 October

  • Venue: Taieri College PAC, 3 Green Street, Mosgiel

We invite you to the Taieri Emergency Community Preparedness hui, aimed at equipping you with the tools and knowledge to safeguard yourself and your loved ones in the event of an emergency.

Learn how to be ‘Home Ready’, ‘Work Ready’ and ‘Community Ready’. Be informed about responding effectively when a disaster strikes. Know what resources are available and what is likely not to be available.

Don’t miss this chance to prepare and protect yourself, your family, and your community!

This hui will be recorded so you can access it at a later date.

 Green Island Christmas Market

  • Date: Saturday, 7 December

  • Time: 10am - 1pm

  • Venue: Main South Road, Green Island

This market is free entry with over 100 stalls, school performance, candy floss, bouncy castle, food truck, arts and crafts, games, competitions and a Santa Grotto. A fun family day out.
