Charges for assessing earthquake-prone buildings

Building Services Team —

The Building Act requires councils to identify potentially earthquake-prone buildings.

The fees to cover this work are set by the Council and are reviewed and approved annually.

Building owners will receive an invoice for the time we spend assessing buildings that meet the earthquake-prone profile (and any follow-up work).
