Dunedin Santa Parade

Bringing the Christmas Spirit to the city since 1998.

The Dunedin Santa Parade is the largest FREE community event in Otago, drawing huge crowds and marking the beginning of Christmas. Filled with enchanting and captivating floats, music, marching, community groups, local businesses, sports teams, and of course the man in the red suit himself - Santa!

Friends of School are hosting a house and garden tour showcasing a number of beautiful properties in the wider Outram area fundraising for new audio and visual equipment in the school hall.

Operatunity Presents - Christmas Royal Variety Show

Christmas Royal Variety Show is the biggest extravaganza ever. Led by the super talented Karl Perigo, they feature skits, some variety acts and a healthy does of fun. You will also get the chance to sing some famous Christmas songs and hear inspirational carols.

Heritage Bus Christmas Light Tours

Get ready for festive fun as we cruise through Mosgiel, enjoying delightful Christmas light displays!
With carol singing, holiday music, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic, this one hour journey is an experience for all ages to enjoy.  
Leaving from the Mosgiel Scouts Hall, there is plenty of parking at the Taieri Rugby Club, 35 Reid Ave, Mosgiel.

Tickets are $7.72 per person, under 5yrs are free.

Volunteering at Dunedin Community Christmas Dinner

Dunedin Community Christmas Dinner is an amazing annual event that runs on generosity. It's held on Christmas Day at Dunedin Town Hall.

The Dinner is made possible by volunteers - around 180 in all!

If you'd like to help us out we have opportunities in the week before Christmas and of course on Christmas Day. Roles include table hosts, clean up, decorating, table settings, food prep, serving, waiting tables and more.
