Mental Health Awareness Week Youth Event

Calling all young short film makers!

Have you made a video about a subject you care deeply about?

Explore the theme: What's your way? #fiveways to wellbeing

Submit your short film (up to 5 minutes) for the #Fiveways Showcase to be able share it with an audience and contribute to the conversation about your way to wellbeing. Entries to be shown at the Showcase on 27 September at the Octagon Club.

Otago All Abilities Sports Day and Expo

Come along to Forsyth Barr Stadium to try a range of sports on offer. There will also be a range of stalls from several sport and recreation organisations.

Dunedin Ministry of Health Disability Support Services Conversation

Disability Support Services are travelling to towns around New Zealand to talk about the supports and services you or your whânau may access – and they would like you to join them.

This is also your opportunity to meet our new Deputy Director-General, Adri Isbister, and hear about her vision for disability support services.

 'Art for our sake' Art Exhibition 

A diverse visual arts show happening during Disability Pride Week.

Artists from Studio 2, Artspace and other local artists who experience intellectual disabilities.

'Art for our sake' is an opportunity for the wider community to see some truly outstanding art works and broaden their understanding of why we love to make art!

The official exhibition opening for 'Art for our sake' is on Monday 16 September 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm - Free and welcome to all to attend.

Meet the Southern District Health Board Candidates

The Otago-Southland PHA branch is  hosting an evening in Dunedin to hear from the Otago Candidates for the Southern DHB elections 2019. 

Your chance to hear from the Otago candidates for the SDHB 2019 elections.

Public Health Association Otago-Southland has asked all the candidates questions about their ability to look after the public health of Otago and Southland, at this event we'll launch the scorecards showing how well they align with PHA priorities.

On the night each candidate gets a chance to explain their position and answer a random public health question.
