We’ve upgraded the rates information page of the DCC website to make it clearer and easier for the public to use.

We’ve also removed some of the content previously displayed there to ensure consistency with other councils across New Zealand.

If you need to provide evidence of ownership as part of a building application, the following can be used:

• copy of a record of title (no more than six months old)
• lease agreement
• sale and purchase agreement
• other document showing the full name of the legal owner. 

We can supply a copy of the record of title (charges apply) or you can order one from Land Information New Zealand.
