Thank you to everyone who helped us arrange our visits to scheduled heritage buildings over the summer for the Heritage Monitoring Programme. The survey work has now been completed and the data is being assessed. A report summarising the result will be released in the next couple of months.

Recent Heritage Fund recipient

Cargill’s Castle is one of Dunedin’s icons, but it fell into its current state of disrepair in the 1970s. Since 1997, the Cargill’s Castle Trust has worked to secure the building’s future and is currently working towards stabilising it as a ruin and providing public access with the support of the Dunedin Heritage Fund.
