Here's a few tips to help avoid delays when applying for a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC):

• You should apply for a CCC when your building work has finished, and all the required inspections and conditions have been signed off

• Make sure all relevant sections of the application form have been filled out correctly

• If the consent involves Restricted Building Work, please provide us with records of work from the Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs)

• Don't forget to review the Record of Required Site Inspections (issued with the building consent) and inspection records to ensure all required producer statements and compliance certificates have been provided

• If the building consent includes specified systems, please ensure all relevant specified system forms have been completed and supplied with the application

• Please also make sure all supporting documents reference the correct building consent number

• Make sure to use our online service to submit supporting documentation before applying for the CCC - this will save time and money
