Octagon events – tips in a tool kit

DCC Events —

Holding events in the Octagon? Have we got the tool kit for you…

Just click on this Octagon Tool Kit link now to find out what you need to know and explore the possibilities.

It’s fun and exciting planning an event, discussing and creating ideas and working through the options. How big will it be, how many people, are you using all the Octagon or just part of it. Is it tied into a festival or a time of year, is it promotional, community or charity based?

These are all questions to consider when beginning to plan. The planning time scale will vary depending on how much impact your event will have. Will you need to close a road, use the carriageway, build a stage, assemble gazebos, bring in toilets or bouncy castles and have food vendors. The tool kit helps you by identifying some of the components of a low, medium, and high impact event.

Time now to ponder the question, where are you going to put everything? A site plan helps and DCC Events Advisors are available to walk through your event idea and see how it will all take shape in the Octagon.

But, how is your event going to be funded? Back to planning, funding is the most important area you need to consider as it can be a time-consuming process.
