Good progress has been made on resolving the remaining 2GP appeals over the last few months, with only a handful left unresolved.

Decisions have been issued by the Court on three rezoning appeals for low density or rural residential land in Waitati and near Harwood; as well a decision resolving the policies and rules relating to protection of biodiversity.

We are awaiting decisions on two further appeals where Court hearings are underway.

Court hearings may be required to resolve four remaining zoning appeals; however, it is unlikely that the Court will be able to hear these until the end of the year.
