Evenings at DPAG - music, performance, delicious food, drink and a relaxed space.
In 2021 the DPAG will be inviting locals and visitors alike to drop in after work on the third Thursday of the month to enjoy twilight art and entertainment.
The first evening is scheduled for February 18 and will see the DPAG carpark transformed into a space to enjoy the long summer evening. Including pop-up tattoo artists, spaces for lounging, a cash bar, and food trucks. DPAG is also looking for musicians/performers/DJs to help create a laid back, relaxed atmosphere for this first event.
To note
- weather permitting, this will be an outside event, so there will be some restrictions on volume
- performance times to be negotiated; the event will run from 5 – 8pm
- this is a paid opportunity; remuneration to be discussed with DPAG organisers
To register Interest
- send your cv/contact details to Vanessa George at vanessa.george@dcc.govt.nz
- music samples or links to performances would be appreciated
- include a brief outline of any performance requirements/preferences
Don’t worry if laid back and chilled out doesn’t quite suit your style this time around! As the year progresses, events will change to suit the season, so watch this space.
