The Healing Power of Nature
We need nature more than ever as we grapple with the enormity of our poor, sad world in turmoil.
It is so easy to be overwhelmed by all the incidents of this year and the looming problems associated with climate change. But nature is still here for us. The healing power of nature is apparent as soon as we step barefoot onto grass, smell a flower, put our hands in soil, observe a bee, and slow down and clear our minds of the stresses of life.
Imagine sitting under a beautiful tree in the fresh air, book in hand, allowing yourself some time to relax and be in the moment. I can recommend some books for you to read slowly, to enjoy the lovely language, and above all, to let written words on nature transport you to a gentle place.
