Internet & WiFi

Dunedin Public Libraries provides free computing and Internet access via the Aotearoa People’s Network Kaharoa (APNK) and GigCity.

Free wifi access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at all Libraries. Outside Library opening hours, access is around the Library buildings. We have two public wifi networks: GigCity free WiFi (limited to 2 GBs per day) and APNK which is a secure network.

Printing

Black and white and colour, A4 printing is available from these PCs and using wifi from your own device. A4 printing in black and white costs 20c per side or $1.00 per side for colour.

Computers

APNK Chrome stations and Chromebooks are available for customer use. These use Google Docs and Google Chrome. Other web-based word processing services are available. Each APNK device has USB ports and most have a webcam attached or inbuilt.
