Amanda shares a new YA title for those with a craving for mystery.

Following the death of her mother, Cecelia moves in with her famous author grandmother, Maura. Maura has made her fortune from writing gritty crime novels, the first of which was based on the murder of a local homecoming queen that occurred when she was in high school. When a copycat murder occurs Cecelia becomes fixated on finding the killer. However the more she digs the bigger the mystery becomes and it is not long before Cecelia realises that she too has become a target for the killer. Everyone in town seems to have a secret to hide and it becomes harder and harder to know who she can trust. Will she be able to find the murderer before they find her?

This was a very engaging book and it had a delightfully unexpected twist at the end. It is available on Borrowbox as an audio book.
