Warriors clothed in fabrics
Patterns follow family lines
Breacan shapes a history
That time unwinds

Warriors turn to sailing
Escaping lion’s rule
Mountains fold like blankets
Hiding a golden hue

Armour ploughs a field
Ethics bide a colony
Redemption is at hand
For the brave to venture through

A cross shapes a nation
Wool weaves amongst the crowds
School girls don skirts
Drawn from a high

Their story is retold
Through colour and cloth
Antique laces find new purpose
Bring forth the Scot
