140 delicious superfood recipes by Dana Jacobi

The Power Greens Cookbook: 140 delicious superfood recipes. Dana Jacobi

I’m passionate about growing food. My garden is crammed with berry bushes, fruit trees and of course numerous vegetable beds. Leafy greens are one of the easiest and productive vegetables to grow. They grow all year round (even through winter). They are so good for you and taste delicious! But what to do with all those leafy greens?

Dana Jacobi’s book is an excellent collection of recipes using green vegetables of all kinds. Not limited to silverbeet and lettuce, this book contains recipes for kale, collard, arugula, watercress, and many others.

The chapters are divided up into the usual dips, soups, mains, etc., but there is also a very useful chapter explaining how to buy, store and prepare each green. This is not a vegetarian cookbook, but recipes that are vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free are coded.

This is a book to enjoy reading for inspiration in the kitchen, filled with gorgeous photographs and plenty of interesting information.

I loved it so much I bought my own copy!
