The Silver Serpent. Lena Jones by Publisher

e-Audio Book Review for Teens

The Silver Serpent. Lena Jones

Why does Van Gogh's painting of the sunflowers not look quite right? Is it simply because it has been moved to a different spot in the gallery or is there a more ominous reason? When the National Art Gallery curator goes missing it becomes apparent that something sinister is afoot.

Agatha is the youngest member of the secret society, Gatekeeper's Guild. She is paired up with a new, very cool partner, Arthur, and together they plunge into an adventure that is much bigger than either of them could have anticipated.

This is an intriguing, fast moving story that enthralls from the beginning and finishes with an unexpected twist. It is aimed at at an intermediate/early high school audience but would be equally enjoyable for older listeners.

The Silver Serpent is the third book in the Agatha Oddly mystery series and is available from the library as an e audio book.
