Bunny Bakes

Yummy bread rabbits to brighten your Easter weekend

Easter Bread Bunnies

1. Use either your ordinary bread recipe; a brioche bread recipe (for a richer, slightly sweet dough) eg. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/brioche-buns (without the sesame seeds); or a hot cross bun recipe.

2. After the first rising of the dough, divide the dough into however many bunnies you want and shape. You'll find a few suggestions pictured here, or you could search "bread bunnies" via Google images for more ideas.

3. Leave in a warm place for the second rising, then brush just before baking with an egg wash (egg or egg yolk beaten with a little milk) to make them nice and shiny. Enjoy!
