Lesley has had a long engagement with the art sector that includes publishing, managing a regional art gallery, running a national awards programme, and facilitating community art projects. Sarah is reprising an extension of her seminar presentation from the Growing Heritage conference at the 2023 Ōtepoti Dunedin Heritage Festival, reflecting on her experiences as an educator in architectural history and heritage conservation, and posing the question "how can we utilise digital technologies to encourage architecture students to engage authentically and actively with our built heritage?
