Cumulus
An exhibition of photography + poetry
‘The sky can speak.’ ~ Carlos Biggemann
We welcome you to an exhibition of sky photography by award winning photographer Carlos Biggemann, with poetry by Dunedin and international poets
Creating a book of sky photography and poetry has long been a dream for Carlos Biggemann. The Cumulus exhibition comprises a selection of work from our collaborative book-in-development project: Cumulus: an anthology of skies. Edited by Kirstie McKinnon and Steve Smart, Cumulus: an anthology of skies gathers Biggemann's emotionally charged photographs together with the immediacy of contemporary poetry to create a unique and thought-provoking reflection on humanity and the skies above us. Themes include: connection, separation, longing, awe, climate crisis and hope. A collection of stunning visual and literary art, the work is rich in perspective and poetic resonance.
