What's Happening at Mosgiel Library?

Colin Clarke, Library Assistant at Mosgiel Library, shares the programme for 2023.

Mosgiel Library has started off 2023 with a whole host of activities. As well as our usual Wriggle and Rhyme/Wiggle Time, Storytime, Narratives (AKA Dementia Friendly Book Chat), Book Chat, and Lego Club, we also host and support local community activities.

These include the longstanding groups, ‘The Taieri Knitters’ on Fridays from 1.30 pm-3.00 pm in the library, and also on Fridays from 10.00 am-1.00 pm in the Downes Room, the Taieri Art Club. Both groups are friendly and welcoming to all.

A new and exciting addition for 2023 is ‘Dansez en Français!’ where you can have fun with your preschooler, singing and dancing in French, every Tuesday in term time in the children’s area from 9.45 am – 10.15 am.

Make sure you stop in at the Mosgiel Library, 7 Hartstonge Avenue, to join in on their wide range of activities. See the Events Calendar for up-to-date details of these programmes.
