The Night We got Stuck in a Story Ben Miller

Lana's and Harrison's favourite activity when staying with their grandparents is to climb into the hollow tree at the local marshland. However on this latest visit they discover the tree is soon to be cut down and a new housing development will be built in the area. The children are upset and later that evening Lana is awoken by a strange pulling sensation. A golden thread is attached to her fingers so Lana and Harrison decide to follow the thread trail which leads them through the hollow tree and into a magical land. So begins their hair raising adventure involving kidnapping, talking animals and spiders. Can they restore peace to this storybook world before it's too late? 

A great read for 7-10 years.
