Turning the Page on Our Digital Resources

A digital resource update.

As mentioned in the last issue of NB, we have made some changes to our digital resource subscriptions recently. We were excited to launch new resources Britannica Library, BWB NZ History Collection, BWB Treaty of Waitangi Collection and Creativebug in July. Be sure to check these out if you haven’t yet done so. We are particularly keen to hear about any arty crafty projects Creativebug has inspired you to attempt. Access all the new resources here.

On 29 August we finished our access to eBooks on Wheelers ePlatform. Over the next few weeks, most of these eBooks will migrate across to Borrowbox which will become our one-stop-shop for eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines. If you need any assistance with setting up or using Borrowbox we are pleased to offer free 30 minute Book a Librarian sessions to support you. We also have a useful step-by-step tutorial on Borrowbox if you want to give it a go on your own.

From time to time, Borrowbox offer opportunities to connect with some of your favourite authors. Join us for an exclusive online event with the bestselling author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Heather Morris, as she discusses her captivating new novel, Sisters of the Rising Sun.
Hosted by @borrowbox - sign up to this free event here: https://bolinda.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ntzzGIn4TciU8i_wMTU6vA#/registration
When: 7pm Thursday 21 September (NZ time).

We hope you enjoy exploring our exciting new digital offerings.
