Generosity: The New Name in Funding

Our funding databases have changed their name, but they’re still a valuable source of funding if you are looking for ways to fund support your study or research project, to get new equipment for your sports team or community organisation, or have a need for some professional development funds.

All you need is a current library card to be able to search Generosity databases from home via the library website, or you can pop into the library to see what you can apply for. Library staff will be happy to help you make the best use of these resources.

givME provides funding information on scholarships, awards and grants for individuals especially students, researchers, sports people, artists and those wanting professional development.

givUS offers funding information for voluntary and community groups, whanau, hapu and iwi organisations. This database covers all sources of discretionary grants including philanthropic, statutory, government and local government funding schemes.

givER offers information about New Zealand businesses that have initiatives to support the community and voluntary organisations. This resource allows individuals and organisations a way of finding funding in the form of grants, sponsorship or donations, to meet their needs for a range of purposes.
