World Mental Health Day

Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature shone a light on this significant international day

In the absence of an event, the City of literature team instead provided customers with the opportunity to take home gift sets of our City of Literature Author Postcards at all Dunedin Public Libraries and Bookbuses.

After the local branch of the NZ Society of Authors kindly put out a call, Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature was proud to produce this series of eight Author Postcards. Bright and colourful, the cards contain uplifting messages and offer connection and a chance to think about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to share our feelings.

Each postcard is unique and personal to the writer but collectively the postcards convey a consistent theme of inspiration drawn from Ōtepoti and its environs.
