Comics Plus

We are excited to announce the launch of Comics Plus for Dunedin Public Libraries users. Comics Plus gives you free access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga - anytime and anywhere. There is never a waiting list and there are awesome titles for all ages: kids, teens, and adults. Titles include the Stranger Things graphic novel series, Fairytail, Umbrella Academy, Avatar: the last Airbender, Bone, Awkward, Lumberjanes and Big Nate. So far Stranger Things is the biggest hit in the Children’s Library, and Djinn is most popular on the full site.

There are two ways to access Comics Plus: via a website on a computer (check out our Digital Library page https://www.dunedinlibraries.govt.nz/digital-library), or through an app on your phone or tablet (download the Library Pass app). Either way, all you need is your Dunedin library card number and password, and you are ready to go. 

There are two separate links for the Children’s Library and Full Library. Youth library card holders up to age 17 can access the Children’s Library link only and Adult card holders (18+) can access either link. New titles are added regularly, so make sure you check back for your graphic novel fix.
