Not Just for Kids...2
We managed to catch up with Craig during his latest
whistle-stop tour to find out more about his upcoming shows when he’ll be
appearing with the UK’s Mr Yipadee.
Ed: Hi Craig, you’ve been so busy this year. What have you been up to?
Craig: I’ve been working on a new kids’ album, Not Just for Kids 2 and helping raise my now 16-month-old daughter.
Ed: When does the CD come out?
Craig: It’ll be available in early November. No books this year as I’ve been concentrating on the CD.
Ed: And you’ve been touring, too, I hear. Where have you been?
Craig: I toured China, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore. And I’m about to tour Australia and Fiji, and I’ll be touring in new Zealand towards the end of the year.
Ed: It’s great that you’ve found time to stop off in Dunedin for the school holidays. And you’re partnering up for some shows in Dunedin and Mosgiel with Mr Yipadee. How did you two meet?
Craig: We’ve known each other for a while. Deano (Mr Yipadee) emailed me some years ago as he saw what I was doing, knew we were doing similar stuff and wanted to swap ideas. We've been friends ever since and we’ll have a lot of fun working together.
Ed: Tell me more about the upcoming shows and what folk can expect from you this time around.
Craig: My show now includes my books projected onto the big screen. It's great as it gives all the kids a chance to see the pictures while I sing them the songs. You can still expect lots of laughs and giggles.
