People Power

The Library's most valuable resource.

Do you want to know what to read next?*  Find the answer to that gnarly reference question that’s been bothering you? Locate a death notice in a newspaper? Delve into your family history? Know how to download an eBook or eAudio title from the library’s digital collection? Learn how to use Word, set up an email account, do photo editing, use Skype? Acquire the knowledge on how to print or scan a document? Experience a positive music based active movement programme (Wriggle and Rhyme) with your under 2s? Get homework help for your child? Know how the library can work with early child care providers to ensure children are school ready?

Staff at all our libraries can point you in the right direction to get the answers to all those questions and more. They are the library’s most valuable resource, so please utilise them.

*If you would like to spend time with a cranky, short-tempered curmudgeon whose clashes with his boisterous and chatty new neighbours are delightfully portrayed with a light, humorous touch then I recommend “A man called Ove” by Fredrik Backman.
