Hort Talk Series: A blooming partnership

Dunedin Public Libraries and Dunedin Botanic Garden are pleased to continue our successful series of talks at the Botanic Garden Information Centre

Join us at the Dunedin Botanic Garden Information Centre at 12 noon on the first Friday of each month (April to November) for this ever-popular series of talks. We'll be there with a pop-up library of books to borrow matched to the topic of the day, so do remember to bring your library card!

July's talk is by Athol Parks of City Walks, who will share the special experience of living in a traditional Japanese home for a year and tending its beautiful garden, plus the joy of a visit to the Katsura Imperial Villa.
Friday 2nd July

August's talk is by Jackie McMillan, literary tourist. To celebrate National Poetry Day in August, Jackie speaks on the intertwining of renowned writers’ words and their gardens and how these have become places of pilgrimage for fans from around the world.

Friday 6th August
