A great story and perfect for bedtime!

Mum and dad have left, they have gone to Mars and they are not coming back. 10-year-old Eliza and her little brother Johnnie have to find out what is going on, can they rescue their mum and dad and bring them home? This story is action packed and it is a real mad cap adventure. Along the way the reader discovers sofa-boats, robot chimps, vampire squids, and even a secret island! 

This book has all kinds of genres: sadness, happiness, lots of funny bits, and some sci-fi. If there is a moral for this story, then it would be that: Family is more important than anything else in the world.
