London Belongs to Us. Sara Manning

This fast-paced novel will have you entertained from page one. Sunny has seen a photograph of her boyfriend kissing another girl and desperately needs to find him. However events conspire against her and a short trip across London ends up taking all night. The people who help her along the way are memorable characters and her unplanned night of adventure makes a great story.

The Border. Steve Schafer

Pato is on the way to a family gathering when something about a car parked opposite his relative’s house arouses suspicion. His intuition is proven to be correct as, half-way through the party, the occupants of the car storm in and shoot most of his family. This leaves the remaining children no option but to run away and try to cross the Mexican border. This is an action packed and thrilling tale.

Goodbye Days. Jeff Zentmer

Carver is bereft after losing his three best friends in a car crash. He blames himself and assumes others will also think he is responsible. Feeling alone and having to fend off attention from the media he begins the new school year with dread. This is a thought-provoking story that deals with the raw emotions of guilt, fear and bereavement in a very real and readable way.
