Dunedin Public Libraries | Kā Kete Wānaka o Ōtepoti

NB: September-October 2017

Exciting times ahead for the Library with a carnival and a film festival to look forward to; two major competitions - Jealous Saboteurs  teen writing, and Robert Burns Poetry  - bringing the best of literary talent to the fore; and a closer look at James Bellany's remarkable mural Te Kore in the Library Plaza.

Our cup runneth over with new book launches and poetry aplenty, including the finalists and winners of our Snowdrops Poetry competition.

We take a look at the City's history with the upcoming Heritage Festival; enjoy travelling in Peru, and get inspired by plants.

And Al Brown is coming to tell us about his new cookbook Eat Up Dunedin

After all that, I shall enjoy a bit of peace and quiet curled up on my desert island with a few good reads...
