On Wednesday 28th of August, East Otago High School held a Careers Expo.  Find Your Future aimed to introduce students to knowing what options are available and taking up opportunities that come your way.

The expo was opened with our Head Girl Brianne Harris' speech.  Brianne shared with us her experiences over her school years.  Her message that opportunities taken help you grow on a personal level as well as help you with decision- making in relation to subject choices and career pathways is one I hope all students will take on board as they plan their future.

A diverse group of 20 speakers briefly introduced themselves and their industry/area of expertise then students from Years 9 to 13, together with a group of students from Maniototo Area School, were given time to go and talk to presenters and get some ideas in relation to future pathways.  

A big thank you goes to our presenters for the support,  time and energy they put into this event, together with the EOHS staff whose support on the day and in the weeks leading  to the event has been invaluable.
