The last three weeks have certainly reminded us all of the devastation that the Delta version of Covid 19 can cause. All of us have had to face challenges as a result of this most deadly virus. These challenges could not have been imagined or planned for and are not exclusively school or community based. They affect us all in all situations. Further, we cannot yet say that the worst is behind us.

East Otago High School has been provided with funding so that we can have someone based within the school that is able to offer support and assistance to anyone within the school community. I have been fortunate to have been given this opportunity to provide student and whanau support.

We are here to help in anyway we can to ensure all those within the East Otago High School community get through what has turned out to be another incredibly challenging and stressful year.
